Back after Christmas

So I’m back after Christmas – looking forward to getting on with the scooter. Thinking that I had overcome my problems from before christmas, I replaced the spark plug that came with the Scooter for good measure (as I figured it was spoiled) with a NGK B7HS plug, checking that it had good spark. Interestingly the spark from it was miles better than the old plug – so it may have been a shitty plug that was adding to my previous problems. The new plug kicked over first time no problem and I rode for a couple of miles, before heading in. I did noticed that some mild smoke was coming out of the engine cowling, so I popped the cowling off and I think the smoke is coming from the carb, so next weekend I’m going to clean it out with some carb cleaner.
