July 4th….almost
Well not quiet July 4th but a day off anyway, and by day off I mean I didn’t have to go into my place of employment but yet I found myself doing work for that afore mentioned job anyway. July 4th is just any other day in England – not being a nation to celebrate our defeats, and I have grown to dislike July 4th with an ever growing passion. I don’t really give a rats arse about the British withdrawal (I will call it a withdrawal in the same way Vietnam was deemed a withdrawal), however, It does erk when an american realizing I’m British makes some reference to having a Boston Tea Party with me. Anyway aside from that checked out That's A Wrap (2022 N 7th St, Phoenix) which was pretty decent. Then headed up to Firesky Resort & Spa (4925 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale) for cocktails with our new friends Mark and Carl to celebrate their anniversary, followed by dinner at the Roaring Fork (4800 N Scottsdale Rd Ste 1700, Scottsdale) .
